St Aloysius College, AIMIT organised an orientation programme for its non teaching and support staff on July 27 & 28, 2020. Fr Ronald Pais SJ, inspirational speaker and counselor, was the resource person. Fr Pais began the programme with fun filled energisers and team building activities. He then spoke about howone should learn to be kind to themselves and look upon themselves with love. He also spoke about the habit of cultivating gratefulness.

Fr Pais also guided the staff to have a personal introspection and outline their personal, family and institutional goals. He went on to share a few exercises and affirmations on relieving stress and anxiety which benefitted the staff immensely.

“The programme which we attended was helpful, fun and we also learnt new things about our colleagues. We felt relaxed, and went home with a happy and peaceful mind,” said Sylvia Fernandes, accounts manager.

“The programme was very good and motivational. The non teaching staff were happy to experience this kind of a session,” opined Lancy Pinto, maintenance officer.

Others felt that there were many take-aways from the sessions. “The programme showed me how one could stride positively in life. It was a good session,” said Roshan D’Souza, assistant, system administration.
