Mangaluru, April 7, 2025 — The Department of MBA, School of Business Management, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), launched a Digital Marketing Workshop for its Semester IV students on Monday at Room 203, Arrupe Block, AIMIT campus.

The workshop began with a brief inaugural session presided over by Dr Rajani Suresh, Dean of the School of Business Management, along with Prof Wilson Glen Periera, Department of Media Studies, and resource persons Mr Mayur Hatwar and Mr Shubham Sinha from HiveMinds, Bangalore — a subsidiary of Madison Global, Mumbai.

This initiative is part of the Memorandum of Understanding between St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) and HiveMinds. A total of 74 students and four faculty members participated in the sessions.

The two-day introductory segment featured sessions on the fundamentals and future of digital marketing, keyword research, and advertisement campaign creation. Mr Mayur Hatwar introduced students to the dynamic landscape of digital marketing, while Mr Shubham Sinha conducted hands-on sessions on keyword strategy and campaign structuring using Google Ads. Students actively engaged through in-class assignments to apply their learning in real-time.

The workshop aims to provide practical exposure and industry-aligned learning as a core part of the digital marketing curriculum.
