On 29th May 2025, the AIMIT Centre of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Canara Organization for Development and Peace (CODP), Mangalore, to enhance practical learning and community involvement among MBA students. This partnership focuses on exposing students to labour welfare schemes, especially the Karmik Card initiative for construction workers, and broader community development activities.
As part of the Service-Learning Project (SLP), 30 MBA students will participate in awareness drives, data collection, and field visits to areas identified by CODP. The collaboration aims to build civic responsibility, administrative awareness, and a deeper understanding of inclusive social initiatives. Students will also undergo orientation sessions and receive certification upon successful completion, making this a valuable step toward integrating academic knowledge with social impact.
