A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between AIMIT and Kanara Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mangalore (KCCI) on March 9.

The purpose of the MoU is to have an industry – institute interface where the students will be provided with internship opportunity through the members of KCCI and for deliberations on entrepreneurship development. 

Shashidhar Pai Maroor, President KCCI and Dr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto SJ, Director, AIMIT signed and exchanged the MoU.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr Rajani Suresh, Dean, MBA, Dr Nagendra S, associate professor, MBA, Mytreya Ajila, COO, KCCI, and Mudassar, director and in charge of industry-academia interconnect of KCCI.

“KCCI having various business firms ranging from small to very large enterprises as its members and whereas AIMIT having various students who are undergoing education training whereas KCCI through its members will be able to enhance the confidence of the students by nurturing young minds and help building you talents,” the MoU read.

“The students of AIMIT, who seek a rewarding career in finance and management or to become entrepreneurs, shall get hands on information and knowledge through this mutual understanding between KCCI and AIMIT,” according to the document.
