Anushree Raj speaks on bioinformatics

Anushree Raj from the IT department and delivered a talk on ‘Trends, development and career in bioinformatics’ at University College Mangalore on June 21, 2023. There were 58 final year students of BSc Zoology and Chemistry.

In her talk, Ms Raj gave a brief introduction to the field of bioinformatics and explained the real time applications of bioinformatics. In simple terms she explained the demand for bioinformatics and how students could choose their career after the completion of bioinformatics course. The details of MSc Bioinformatics at AIMIT were provided.

The session was interactive. Students were able to gain more information about bioinformatics.
