AIMIT bid adieu to Fr Denzil E. Lobo SJ on May 26, 2020. The new incumbent Dr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto SJ assumed charge from the outgoing Director.
The programme began with a prayer service conducted by the staff. The theme of the prayer service was ‘Trust in the Lord’. The service ended with a beautiful hymn.
This was followed by the welcome address and a beautiful down-memory-lane video of Fr Denzil.
In his address, Fr Denzil said that it was time for him to move on. “It has been a long, yet a fruitful journey. I was blessed with so many friends and students here on this campus” he said.
Both Fr Denzil and Fr Melwyn were given a grand felicitation and welcomed with a shawl, saplings, fruits and gifts.
Rector Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ thanked Fr Denzil Lobo SJ for his services and wished him success in his new assignment in Bangalore. He also wished the new Director on his role.
