Dr Ruban delivers keynote address at SJU, Bangalore

Dr S. Ruban, from PG department of Software Technology, AIMIT, St Aloysius College (Deemed to be University), chaired a session and gave a keynote address at the International Conference on Recent Trends in Advanced Computing organised by St Joseph’s Institute of Information Science, St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru on May 2-3. Sixty-one research papers were presented at the conference and more than 100 researchers with unique ideas were present.

In his address on the topic ‘AI based Healthcare – Future’ on May 3, Dr Ruban discussed the opportunities available to students, faculties and researchers to work on real time data which will help develop AI and innovative solutions, further helpinglarger society. He also elaborated various real time projects developed by him and his student mentees in collaboration with Father Muller Medical college, Mangalore. The session was followed by aquestion answer session.

As an outcome of this talk, St Joseph’s University is in talks with few healthcare institutes in Bangalore for sharing real time data.

The main agenda of the conference was to provide a platform for young researchers to discuss their ideas which will be helpful for society in solving real life problems.
