Ranked 80th
The first year students of MCA and MSc programmes (Software Technology, Bioinformatics, Big data analytics and Data Science) were welcomed on Monday, November 21 with aninaugural programme. Varenya from final year Big Data Analytics was the MC.
The programme started with a prayer service led by Dr Ruban, HOD of MSc Software Technology. Varenya the MC of the programme welcomed the gathering followed by the address by the dean, Dr Hemalatha.
Dr Hemalatha gave a presentation on how the classes will be for the next two weeks. Also, she advised the new students to concentrate on foundation classes as they are important to make their base strong. Students were led into a group activity to get to know each other. It was coordinated by Dr Rakesh Kumar and Dr Jeevan Pinto.
