Accelerating research and career momentum through IEEE publications was organised by the IT department at St Aloysius College (AIMIT) on April 19.
M Srinivasa was the guest speaker of the day. He is the training manager at EBSCO Information Services and IEEE Xplore digital library.
Dr Hemalatha N, Dean (Academics), IT department introduced Mr Srinivasa. Dr Hemalatha explained the importance of IEEE in research.
Mr Sinivasa thanked AIMIT for taking the IEEE membership and further in his one hour session he explained the various facilities provided by IEEE for its membership institutes.
“Many colleges have membership with IEEE in Mangalore and AIMIT is one of the colleges in the list. This membership is very useful and important for your research and we are really glad to have many users from AIMIT,” Mr Sinivasa said.
The programme was concluded with a quiz for the staff.
