AIMIT held Ayudha Puja on Saturday, October 21. Welcoming the gathering, maintenance officer Lancy Pinto said that it was a tradition at AIMIT to bless machines and vehicles and hence this year too the occasion was organised.
Director Dr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto conducted the blessing ceremony. He said that to work efficiently in an organisation, we need the help of machinery. “AIMIT has quite a lot of machinery. It is important that the machinery functions well so that our support staff and technicians can work well. Let us invoke the divine blessings on all the machinery so that we are able to make the best use of them,” he said.
Various machinery such as generators, gym room, sewerage treatment plant, kitchen and vehicles were later blessed. All the non-teaching and support staff were present. Roshan Ferrao proposed the vote of thanks.
