The Management Development Centre of AIMIT has started conducting MDPs and FDPs. The first residential MDP on “Human Capital Analytics” was held on 17 and 18th Nov. We had 26 participants from various banks and firms. Mr Allen Pereira, former Chairman, Bank of Maharashtra was the Chief guest for the inaugural. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, Rector, St Aloysius College, Mangalore presided over the function. Fr Denzil Lobo SJ. Director, AIMIT and Mr Rajendra Desai, Dean , MDC were present. The program received a very enthusiastic participation of Mid- Level and Senior Level HR Managers from  Infosys, ICICI Bank, Union Bank, Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank and Corporation Bank besides representation from the Academic Community from XIME and St. Joseph’s Engineering College Mangalore.

The program provided an overview on how organisations could leverage Human Capital Analytics to build a competitive edge for their talent teams. Resource persons were Mr.Jose Maliakal from the Cognitive and Mr Chris D’Souza from Analytics Group of IBM Global, Lead Strategic Group and Mr Ryan, the faculty of AIMIT.

Faculty Development Program on “Multivariate Techniques” using EXCEL for research scholars and faculty was conducted don 4 and 5th Dec. Ms Sumitha Achar, Faculty, AIMIT and Dr Benny J. Godwin, Christ University were the resource persons. The whole program was with hands-on experience using EXCEL.

The third FDP was held on Financial Modeling using EXCEL for the faculty teaching various institutions. Dr. Shijin J. from Pondichery University was the resource person.

MDP on “BUILDING ETHICAL LEADERSHIP” will be held on 5 and 6th January, 2018. Fr Ozwald Mascarenhas SJ, JRD Tata Chair Professor, XLRI will be the main resource person. We are expecting a lot of top managerial brass to attend this unique MDP on leadership.

The MDC of AIMIT will be organizing a lot of MDPs and FDPs in collaboration with leading Business Schools in India. The delegates have excellent residential facilities with air-conditions rooms and well equipped conference hall and labs.
