The Software Technology department of AIMIT, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) held a workshop for the students of St Mary’s College, Shirva, Udupi on May 31. The workshop was led by Dr Srinivas B.L. and assisted by students of Software Technology: Adarsh M.K, Mohammed Shamran, Reshab Shetty and Tithanyian. The subject of the workshop was ‘Mobile application development’.

The workshop explained the value of mobile application in the global market, providing hands-on experiences and sharing valuable real-world mobile application market analysis data with the participating BCA students.

The sessions also covered various topics such as a brief outline of android app marketplace, the harsh reality – why mobile apps fail, why build an app – top reasons, how to make an android app, what types of android applications can be created, benefits of developing an android app and best android app development in our comprehensive workshop. There was also a hands-on session where BCA students were made to create simple applications.
