The support staff of AIMIT took part in an orientation programme on September 16. Br Elson and Br Joachim were the resource person for the half day programme.

In his message, Director, Dr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto SJ said that support staff played a crucial role in the functioning of the campus. He said that it is important to update and reorient oneself constantly.

The first session was conducted by Br Elson. The session began with an ice breaker activity which involved self-introduction and how well they know about the institution. He also emphasised on St Ignatius’s words, ‘to labour and not to seek reward’ with the help of Magis. He also gave a few tips to work as collaborators.

During the second session, led by Br Joachim, participants engaged in team-building activities to learn about effective teamwork. These activities promoted communication, problem-solving, and unity among team members. Through this session, participants learnt valuable skills to enhance their collaborative efforts and strengthen the team’s overall performance.

Later in the afternoon, Director addressed the members motivating them to be even more committed and loyal to the institution.
