SWAG-त 2K23: IT freshers welcomed by seniors

The newcomers of the IT department at AIMIT St Aloysius College (Deemed to be University) were welcomed by seniors during the SWAG-त 2023 Freshers’ Day held on November 11.

The central theme for SWAG-त 2K23 centered around the reverence and celebration of Indian festivals.

The day unfolded with juniors representing various IT streams showcasing their performances and vying for the coveted overall champion title. Their enthusiastic talents were on display, entertaining the audience while adhering to the overarching theme of Indian festivals.

Subsequently, the junior participants engaged in a variety of games orchestrated by their seniors, creating an enjoyable experience and exemplifying their spirited involvement. A ramp walk was conducted to present the attire of the junior participants, aligning with the theme of Indian festivals.

MSc Software Technology emerged as the triumphant winner of the competition. Rajesh from MSc Big Data Analytics and Riza Aisha from MSc Data Science were crowned Mr Fresher and Ms Fresher respectively for the year 2k23. Mrs Anushree Raj and Mr Srinivas from faculty IT department were the event coordinators.
