AIMIT organised a vaccination drive on Wednesday September 29. Over 45 were administered the second dose of the Covishield vaccine. The drive was held in association with the public health centre (PHC) Kotekar.

Inaugurating the event, Director of AIMIT, Dr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto welcomed the healthcare workers. “We are happy that Kotekar PHC agreed to hold this camp here so that our staff and students could benefit. Though the Covid cases are decreasing, we are not safe until everyone gets vaccinated. We hope that with the efforts that healthcare workers take, we will be able to fight the virus very soon,” he said.

The vaccination commenced after the inauguration of the drive. All the registered were administered the second dose of Covishield. Maintenance Officer, Mr Lancy Pinto co-ordinated the event.
